| Abstract: | Given the dynamic, specialized, and transdisciplinary nature of science, representing a scientific discipline poses a challenge, particularly when conveying the discipline's identity to funding agencies, prospective students, and other outsiders. To address this challenge, we present a visualization approach based on a co-word analysis of keywords generated from the work of highly-cited researchers. We illustrate our method by visualizing and interpreting the intellectual space of information science. |
